Homeless Help Alliance – Coastal MS
We support, advocate for, and uplift individuals experiencing homelessness across Southern Mississippi.
Homeless Help Alliance distributes hygiene supplies, clothing, tents, sleeping bags, tarps, flashlights, and other essential survival items. We also assist individuals in obtaining birth certificates, state IDs, and Social Security cards—documents necessary for employment, healthcare, and housing. We connect individuals to food support programs such as SNAP.
We offer structured, client-centered case management to help individuals overcome barriers, address immediate needs, and work toward long-term stability. We guide clients toward employment, housing, healthcare, and self-sufficiency.
Collaboration is central to our mission. We work with nonprofits, faith groups, city leadership, law enforcement, and advocacy organizations to streamline support services and strengthen community response efforts.
Through social media, news coverage, and public dialogue, we highlight the realities of homelessness and advocate for improved shelter options, mental health services, and policy changes that protect vulnerable individuals.
We respond rapidly to encampment clearings and similar crises by documenting events, advocating for fair treatment, and supplying displaced individuals with tents, blankets, and essential survival items.
We organize discussions, events, and outreach opportunities to involve the broader public. Community members can donate, volunteer, attend meetings, or assist in official homeless population counts to help drive informed policy.
We bring attention to the lack of permanent shelters on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the absence of centralized mental health services, and systemic failures that leave many individuals vulnerable to incarceration instead of care.
Donations help us provide survival supplies, case management support, and emergency aid. We offer multiple ways for individuals and organizations to contribute financially or through material support.
Homeless Help Alliance – Coastal MS provides vital support, challenges systemic failures, and fights for meaningful change. Through outreach, partnerships, and community engagement, we work toward a future where homelessness is addressed with compassion, dignity, and sustainable solutions.
